ScreenBill — Privacy Policy

App: ScreenBill (package com.studiomono.billed) · Developer: Studio Mono · Effective: September 22, 2026

ScreenBill shows you a daily "bill" for your phone usage. It is built so that your usage data stays on your device. This policy explains what the app reads, what (if anything) leaves your phone, and the choices you have.

The short version

Data the app reads on your device

With your permission, ScreenBill reads Android's usage access statistics (the same data source Android's Digital Wellbeing uses): which apps were in the foreground and when, and screen on/off and unlock events. From this the app computes your daily totals, per-app breakdown, device pickups, and after-midnight usage.

All of this is computed and stored in a local database on your device. It is never uploaded, synced, or backed up to any server by ScreenBill.

Permissions the app asks for

Optional AI roast (off by default)

The bill can include a short humorous remark. By default this is generated entirely on your device from templates. If you explicitly enable the optional AI roast feature (when offered), the app sends a small, anonymous summary of that day's usage (for example: total time, pickups, and the name of your most-used app) to our server to generate the remark. This payload contains no account identifier, is used only to produce the roast, and is not stored on the server. You can turn the feature off at any time, and the app falls back to on-device templates.

Purchases

Optional purchases (subscriptions, one-time unlocks, bill skins) are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details. Google's handling of payment data is described in Google's own privacy policy. Purchase state is cached on your device so your unlocks work offline.

Sharing images

If you use the Share feature, the app renders an image of your bill and hands it to the app you choose (for example WhatsApp). That happens only when you tap share, only with the image you previewed, and you can hide private apps from the shared copy first.

Data retention & deletion

Everything the app stores lives on your device. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it permanently deletes your data. There is no server-side copy to delete.

Children

ScreenBill is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change (for example when new features launch), this page will be updated and the effective date revised. Material changes will also be surfaced in the app.
